A team of business leaders and marketers from Ukraine toured Husman Snack Foods Co. in Over-the-Rhine on Friday as part of a month-long visit to several food packaging plants, farms and government institutions in the Midwest. One goal of the visits is to help jump-start the economy of the former Communist country, which had been part of the now-defunct Soviet Union. A Ukrainian contingent of 16 representatives, including two interpreters and a technical writer, visited the plant. The Husman tour was the first stop. The delegation will also visit the Ohio State Fair, a sugar factory in Saginaw, Mich., and a canning company in Toledo.
