The Center for Economic Initiatives (CEI) hosted a unique event Friday, May 4 with the Director for Transatlantic Trends at the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF).Transatlantic Trends has become the pre-eminent source of U.S. and Global opinion on a host of transatlantic issues, including common foreign policy challenges, support for NATO, the economy, and the rise of other world powers. GMF conducts this comprehensive, annual Transatlantic Trends survey to foster debate on the strategic policy goals, objectives, and values of the U.S. and Europe as members of the transatlantic community.
The 10th anniversary of the Transatlantic Trends marks a potential sea change for the transatlantic relationship, and Dr. Nyiri will be sharing the survey’s insights and implications with knowledgeable leaders from Cincinnati’s corporate, international, academic and local government communities, just as he’s done with the White House, select U.S. Government agencies and throughout Europe.
GMF’s generous support has allowed CEI to bring this important, timely and relevant presentation to Cincinnati at no charge to you. CEI will be hosting the Transatlantic Trends discussions on an annual basis.
